Real Living Rooms. Real Cold Snaps. Real 3D Fireplace Flame.

30 inches tall. 250 sq ft of coverage. The biggest 3D flame window in the Ceramic family. Fan mode for summer.

You have owned space heaters before. Static amber squares that only warm one spot. Boring silhouettes in the corner.

Here is what actually differs about The Ceramic Beacon.

4 Things We Care About

The Biggest 3D Flame in the Family.

Full-height 3D flame window at the bottom with dancing amber flames and simulated glowing logs. Bigger and more vivid than the Ember or Aurora. Runs independently of the heat — leave the flame on with the heater off, room turns into a fireplace.

30 Inches Tall. Flagship Tower.

Tallest ceramic in the lineup. Ember is 17 in, Aurora is 24, Beacon is 30. The extra height distributes 1500 watts more evenly across a real living room — fewer cold spots in the far chair.

check

Fan-Only Mode. 3 Watts. Summer Bonus.

Summer is not why you bought a heater, but on a stuffy afternoon flip it to fan-only. 3 watts — the wattage of a nightlight. Not an air conditioner, just useful air movement year-round.

money

Ceramic PTC + CSA Safety.

PTC self-regulates — if it overheats, resistance climbs and current drops. Plus 30° tip-over shutoff, overheat shutoff at 167°F, V0 flame-retardant housing. CSA certified.

Real homeowners. Real family rooms. Real fireplace ambience on the same 1500 watts everyone else charges you for.

"Best 3D flame window I have ever seen."

"Upgraded from the Ember. The Beacon's flame window is more than twice as big and the flames look ridiculously real — you can almost see the logs cracking. 30-inch height matters too: it fills our family room instead of hiding beside the couch. Movie nights got a mood upgrade."

"Fan mode in July was a genuine surprise."

"Bought this for winter, discovered the fan-only mode in July. 3 watts, quiet, moves air in my sitting room when the AC cannot quite reach. In winter it is a whisper-quiet 1500W heater with a big flame window. Three-season appliance for a one-season price."

"30-inch height puts the flame at eye-level from the bed."

"Set this up in my master bedroom corner. Because it is 30 inches tall, the 3D flame window is right at eye-level when I am propped up in bed. Hypnotic to fall asleep to. 12-hour timer shuts the heat off at 2 AM. Best sleep of my life."

The biggest 3D flame in the family. Movie night got a mood upgrade.

Owned the Ceramic Ember for two winters. Great little heater. Bought the Beacon for our larger family room because the Ember was too short for the space. The Beacon is 30 inches tall vs the Ember's 17. The flame window is more than twice as big and the flame animation is significantly more realistic — you can almost see wood grain in the logs. My wife thinks it is the best fireplace-substitute we have ever bought. 1500W ceramic underneath is exactly the same as every other tower on this site. The tower height and the flame window are what you are paying for.

Fan-only mode in July was a genuine surprise. Year-round use.

Bought this for winter. Discovered in July that it has a fan-only mode that draws 3 watts — basically nothing. In our stuffy sitting room in summer the AC does not reach. Flip the Beacon to fan-only, get airflow. Not an air conditioner, but a genuinely useful breeze on the wattage of a nightlight. In winter, it is a silent 1500W heater with the biggest 3D flame window in this lineup. Three seasons, one appliance.

HVAC tech. Bought for our master bedroom. CSA cert + 30-inch is why.

I install and repair furnaces for a living. My wife wanted a tower heater for the master bedroom. I picked this one. CSA cert (stricter than most). PTC element cycles cleanly. Cool-touch housing. Tip-over shutoff. Overheat shutoff at 167F. Everything checks out. 30-inch height matters in our bedroom because the flame window at that height is at eye-level from the bed. Hypnotic. Wife loves it. Six months in, zero issues.

Upgraded from Aurora. Bigger flame, more height, better fit for the living room.

Had the Ceramic Aurora (24 in tall). Bought the Beacon (30 in) for our larger living room. The extra 6 inches of height really does matter for a bigger room — heat distributes more evenly and the flame window is more visible from across the couch. The Beacon's flame is a single beautiful amber (Aurora has 7 colors, which is a fun feature but we always ran amber anyway). Different products for different rooms. Both use exactly 1500 watts. Beacon just fills more space.

Engineer. Kill-a-Watt says 1500W high, 800W low, 3W fan. Matches label.

Kill-a-Watt on the outlet. High mode: exactly 1500W. Low mode: exactly 800W. Fan-only mode: 3W (essentially the LED display and a tiny fan). Matches every number on the label. The 3D flame effect itself with the heat off draws about 6W (a slightly bigger LED array than the Ember/Aurora because the flame window is larger). Still negligible — leave the flame on all evening for pennies. 80-degree oscillation motor works quietly. 12-hour timer shuts off within a minute of the set time. Not a marketing product.

My mother is 82. This is the heater she asked me to buy her.

My mother is 82, lives alone in a small ranch house in Ohio. Cold in her sitting room every winter no matter how high she turns the central heat. I bought her the Beacon for her sitting room corner. 30-inch height means she does not have to bend over to see the flame or use the touch panel — both are at comfortable standing height for her. Remote in her chair. She calls me every week to tell me about a different show she watched "in front of the fireplace." That is what she calls it now. Fireplace.

Three real differences. First, the 3D flame window is significantly bigger and more realistic — you can see the flames flicker and the logs look like logs. Second, 30 inches tall vs Ember's 17 and Aurora's 24 — the Beacon is our flagship tower, meant for real living rooms and family rooms. Third, all three have fan mode but the Beacon combines the biggest flame with 80° oscillation for the largest sweep in the ceramic family. Same 1500 watts of heat as every other tower on this site.

No. It is an LED-lit 3D dancing flame effect with simulated glowing logs. No flame, no fuel, no smoke, no combustion. It draws about 6 watts to run (a bit more than the smaller Ceramic siblings because the flame window is larger). You can leave the flame on with the heater off and it becomes pure fireplace ambience.

On a flat stable floor at least three feet from walls, drapes, or furniture. Aim the front toward the seating area — the 80-degree sweep does the rest. Hard floors are safer than long-pile carpet. Standard 120V outlet, never a light-duty extension cord. It pulls 12.5 amps on high, which is basically a whole circuit.

None. Wipe the housing with a soft dry cloth when it is cool. Every few months, brush the intake vent. No filter to replace, no cartridges to buy.

The FLAME by itself yes — it is just an LED array, about 6 watts. Many customers use it as a night light in the bedroom. The HEATER — like every 1500W heater on this site — do NOT leave it on unattended. Use the 12-hour timer.

Yes, on any standard 15-amp 120V circuit — shore power, a 1500W-capable inverter, or a properly-rated generator. It pulls 12.5 amps continuously on high. Do not run it on a light-duty extension cord, and do not stack it with a microwave on the same outlet.

Every 1500-watt heater makes the same heat. What differs about this one: the biggest 3D flame window in the Ceramic family, 30 inches tall to fill a real living room, fan-only mode for the summer bonus, 80-degree oscillation for the wide sweep.
