Real Cold Desks. Real Cold Couches. Real Instant Zone Heat.
You already own a heater. What you don’t own is a heater that warms YOU in 10 seconds instead of warming the whole room over 15 minutes.
Here is what actually differs about The Ember Cube.
4 Things We Care About
Built to Last, Not to Impress
Built for Zone Heat — The Chair You Sit In, The Desk You Work At, The Workbench You Stand At.
6 metal-wrapped quartz infrared tubes. 1000W / 1500W / ECO. LED display + full remote + 12H timer + child lock. Oscillates side-to-side. Compact 11" cube on the floor, 11 pounds one-hand carry. Tip-over + overheat safety. Removable washable dust filter. About 25 cents an hour on high.
Point it at yourself. Feel warm in 10 seconds. Turn the room thermostat down 4°F. Save on the whole-house heat.
Plug In. Point at the Chair. Feel Warm in 10 Seconds.
Set it on the floor beside your desk, on a side table beside your couch, on a workshop bench. Plug it in. Aim the front grille at where you sit. Turn the dial to HIGH. In 10 seconds you feel the warmth on your skin. That's what quartz infrared does — zone heat, not room heat.
Real desks. Real couches. Real workshops. Real instant zone heat that turns the whole-house furnace back down.
Homeowners. Renters. Caregivers. All had the same one room in the house that never got warm. Here is what happened when they stopped ignoring it.
"Home office corner. Wife likes the house at 66°F. My feet get cold under the desk. Ember Cube sits on the floor pointed at my chair — oscillates slowly across my whole workspace. Warm in 10 seconds. Whole house stays at 66, I stay warm. Marriage saved, electric bill saved."
"Retired. Sit in my leather recliner most of the day. Wife runs the whole house colder than I like. Ember Cube on the side table, aimed at my chair. Warm within seconds — I can feel it on my hands and knees. Remote in the recliner armrest cup holder so I don’t get up. This is what a heater should feel like."
"Bozeman winter. Detached shop is 800 sq ft — impossible to heat with any single heater. But I’m only ever in one spot — at the workbench. Cube on the bench, elements aimed at me. Hands stay warm enough to hold small screws. The other 780 sq ft can stay cold — that’s not the job."
Real Reviews From Real Customers

Feet warm in 10 seconds. My marriage kept its thermostat.
My wife likes the house at 66°F. I want 72. This Ember Cube on the floor beside my desk, oscillating slowly across my workspace, warmed my feet in about 10 seconds when I first turned it on. House stayed at 66. I stayed warm. Wife happy. Electric bill lower than heating the whole 2,200 sq ft to 72. Marriage saved by a $180 heater.

I’m 74. Cube on the side table, remote in the recliner. Done.
Retired. I sit in my leather recliner most of the day reading. Ember Cube on the side table, aimed at my chair. Warm within seconds — hands, knees, feet. Full-featured remote in the cup holder of the recliner arm so I don’t get up. LED display tells me the temp at a glance. Child lock on so my grandson can’t change settings when he visits. This is what a heater should feel like at 74.

Workshop zone heat. Warm hands at the bench, cold shop.
Detached workshop in Montana. 800 sq ft is too big to heat with any single heater. But I’m only ever at ONE spot — the workbench. Cube sits on the bench, elements aimed at me. Hands stay warm enough to hold small hardware. Elements are actually hot enough that I can lean my palms in to warm them between passes. The other 780 sq ft stays cold — fine, that’s not the job.

Quartz vs ceramic vs oil — different tools. Buy this if you want zone heat.
I’ve owned all three. Ceramic tower heaters heat air with a fan (loud). Oil radiators heat the room slowly (silent, but 15 min to feel it). Quartz infrared warms YOU directly (10 seconds). Buy the Cube if you want a specific chair or desk warm now. Buy an oil Column if you want a whole small room warm eventually. Don’t buy one thinking it’ll do the other job.

Bathroom warmup. Point it at the shower door, warm bathroom in 2 minutes.
Small windowless bathroom. Wife hates stepping out of the shower into a cold room. Cube on the floor by the sink, aimed at the shower door. Turn on 5 minutes before shower. Bathroom is warm by the time she gets out. Small room warms fast because quartz heats surfaces, not air.

Basement rec room. Cube on the coffee table, family movie warm.
Basement is always 4°F colder than upstairs. On movie nights the family gets cold. Cube on the coffee table, oscillating across the sectional couch. Everyone on the couch is warm within a minute. Cube uses about 25 cents an hour — way cheaper than heating the whole basement with the furnace zone.

- Quartz infrared (this): warms surfaces (you, your chair) in seconds. Zone heat. Doesn’t warm the whole room.
- Ceramic: heats air with a fan. Room-scale heat but noisy.
- Oil radiator (our Columns): silent whole-room heat but takes 15 minutes to feel warm.
Buy the Cube if you want a specific chair or desk warm NOW. Buy an oil Column if you want a whole small room warm eventually.
Not efficiently. Infrared warms what the beam hits, not the air. Effective zone: about 4-6 feet in front of the heater. Great for a chair, a desk, a couch. Not for warming a 300 sq ft living room to a comfortable temperature. For whole-room heat, look at any of the Column models.
Pull the front filter panel out. Rinse under warm running water. Air dry fully (or dab with a towel). Snap back in. Do this every 4-6 weeks of daily use — more often if you notice a dusty smell when the heater kicks on.
Hold the lock button on the top control panel for 3 seconds. Locks all buttons on the panel and remote. Toddlers can press whatever they want — nothing changes. Hold the lock button again for 3 seconds to unlock.
Like every 1500W heater on this site — do NOT leave it unattended overnight. Set the 12-hour timer to auto-shutoff before bed, or turn it off manually. The elements do NOT retain heat like oil radiators do — when the heater cycles off, the warmth cuts immediately.
Yes, on any standard 30-amp shore power circuit or a 1500W-capable inverter. It draws 12.5 amps on high. 11 pounds and 11 inches wide — packs easy for RV use. Do not run it on a light-duty extension cord.

Another cold night is coming. You already know what it feels like.
Every 1500-watt heater makes about the same peak heat. What differs about this one: it uses QUARTZ INFRARED instead of oil convection or ceramic — which means it warms YOU in 10 seconds instead of warming the whole room over 15 minutes. 6 glowing elements, LED display, full remote, 12-hour timer, child lock, oscillates side-to-side, 11-pound compact cube. Plug it in tonight. Point it at your chair. Feel warm now. 30-day return window.
