Real Living Rooms. Real Fireplace Look. Real Silent Convection.

51 inches of flame along your wall. 20 dB. Runs about 23 cents an hour on high.

You have owned space heaters before. Tower boxes with tiny flame windows and fan hum you cannot ignore.

Here is what actually differs about The Hearth Bar.

4 Things We Care About

51 Inches of Flame Across the Wall.

Full-width tempered glass fireplace window with realistic 3D flame. Not a small viewing pane like a tower heater — the whole face is fire. Sits along the wall like a low-profile fireplace insert instead of standing in a corner. Nothing else in our lineup does this.

5 Flame Colors + Cyclic Mode.

Red, green, yellow, purple, cyan, or slow-cycle rainbow. Match the mood, match the season. Flame runs independently of the heater — use it as pure decoration in July on the cost of a nightlight.

check

Silent Convection. 20 dB. No Fan.

Natural air convection heat — warm air rises out the top vent, cool air is drawn in below. No blower motor, no whirring. 20 dB is quieter than a whisper. You will hear your dishwasher two rooms away before you hear this heater.

money

Baseboard Form. Built-In Handles.

Only 9 inches tall and 6 inches deep. Slides under a picture window or along a wall where a tower would look out of place. Handles on both ends move it between rooms in one carry. CSA certified, V0 flame-retardant housing, IPX4 waterproof, overheat protection.

Sold my broken pellet stove. Bought this instead. Not sorry.

Old pellet stove died last October. Quote for a replacement plus install was 4,000 dollars plus. Season was starting so we needed something now. Bought The Hearth Bar for 390. Yes, it is not real fire and I miss the smell. But the flame effect is convincing at a glance, the 51-inch length fills the wall where the stove used to sit, and 1400 watts warms our sitting room evenly. No pellets to buy, no chimney to sweep. My husband thinks I made the right call. Cat prefers it because it is warm without the crackling.

Convection heater = no fan noise. I actually sleep with it on.

Every tower heater I have owned has a fan hum that becomes the loudest thing in the room. Drives me crazy at bedtime. This is convection — warm air rises off the top, cold air draws in below, no motor. 20 dB rating is real. I put it along the wall in my bedroom, run it at low heat overnight (with the 6-hour timer set to shut off before I wake), and I actually sleep. Cannot say that about any other heater I have owned.

HVAC tech. Bought for my mother-in-law. Baseboard form + CSA + IPX4 are the reasons.

I install furnaces for a living. My mother-in-law is 79 in a small condo. She wanted a fireplace-look heater but nothing that would burn her curtains or fall over on her small dog. The Hearth Bar is only 9 inches tall and sits flat against the wall — no tip-over concern for the dog. CSA cert (stricter than most consumer heaters). IPX4 rating means an accidental water spill will not fry it. V0 flame-retardant housing. Overheat protection. Six months in, zero issues. She loves the multicolor flame.

51 inches was the exact width of my TV console. Perfect fit.

I have a floating TV console mounted on the wall in the living room. The empty wall space UNDER the console was 52 inches. The Hearth Bar is 51.5 — slid in perfectly like it was custom-made. Flame effect below the TV creates this whole "fireplace with TV above it" look I have always wanted. Costs me 23 cents an hour on high, and I usually run flame-only which is basically free. Best 390 dollars I have spent on decor in years.

Engineer. Kill-a-Watt says 1400W. Flame-only draws 8W. Numbers match label.

Kill-a-Watt on the outlet. Heat + flame mode: exactly 1400W. Heat-only: exactly 1400W. Flame-only: 8W (a slightly bigger LED array than the towers because the flame window is 51 inches wide instead of a tiny pane). All match the label. IR thermometer at 4 feet in front of the top vent: air temp rises about 6 degrees F within 15 minutes at low, more at high. Convection is slower than fan-forced but zero noise is the trade I wanted. Purchase vindicated.

My mother has dementia. The flame is calming for her. No fan noise to agitate.

My mother has advanced dementia. She lives with us. Her memory care specialist recommended avoiding sudden loud sounds and providing calm visual focal points. The Hearth Bar sits along the wall in her sitting room. Silent convection means nothing kicks on suddenly to startle her. Slow-cycle rainbow mode gives her something calming to watch. She sits in front of it every afternoon for an hour, more peaceful than she has been in weeks. Small daily quality of life win. That is what these products actually do at their best.

Three real differences. First, form factor — the Hearth Bar is 51 inches wide and 9 inches tall, sits along your wall like a low fireplace. The Beacon and Aurora are cylindrical towers that stand in a corner. Second, heating method — the Hearth Bar uses silent natural convection (no fan), the towers use PTC ceramic with a fan. Convection is slower to heat a room but zero noise. Third, wattage — 1400W vs the towers' 1500W. Small difference in heat output, but this one covers 250 sq ft (like the Aurora's 300) so it is not smaller-room-only.

No. It is a full-width LED flame effect behind tempered glass. No flame, no fuel, no smoke, no combustion. It draws about 8 watts to run (a bigger LED array than the towers because the flame window is 51 inches wide). You can leave the flame on with the heater off and it becomes pure fireplace ambience for the room.

Along a wall on the floor, at least 3 feet from anything combustible (curtains, upholstery, blankets). Behind or beside a couch, under a picture window, under a floating TV console — anywhere a low-profile fireplace insert would live. Standard 120V outlet within 6 feet. Do not run it on a light-duty extension cord.

Wipe the housing and glass with a soft dry cloth when it is cool. Every few months, vacuum the top and bottom vents to keep airflow clean. No filter to replace, no cartridges to buy.

The FLAME by itself yes — it is just an LED array, about 8 watts. Many customers use it as a night light in the bedroom or living room. The HEATER — like every heater on this site — do NOT leave it on unattended overnight. Use the 6-hour timer.

Yes, on any standard 15-amp 120V circuit — shore power, a 1400W-capable inverter, or a properly-rated generator. It pulls 11.7 amps continuously on high. Do not run it on a light-duty extension cord.

Every electric heater in this wattage class makes about the same heat. What differs about this one: 51 inches of flame across your wall, 5 color options + cyclic mode, silent natural convection (no fan hum), baseboard form that sits under a window or behind a couch.
