Is the flame effect real fire?
No. It’s an LED-lit 3D window with glowing amber logs. No flame, no fuel, no smoke. It uses about 3 watts, and you can run it with the heat on or off.
Can I use the flame as a night light?
Yes. The flame runs on its own at about 3 watts, so lots of customers leave just the glow on in the bedroom or nursery. For the heat, set the 12-hour timer and it shuts itself off.
Does it come with a remote?
Yes. The remote works from up to 16.5 ft away (one CR2025 battery, not included), and every setting is also on the touch panel on top.
How big a room does it heat?
It’s rated for 250 sq ft, and the 135° sweep spreads warmth across the whole seating area.
Where should I put it?
On a flat, stable floor about 3 feet from walls, drapes and furniture, facing your seating area. Plug it straight into a standard 120V wall outlet.
