A standard 20 lb propane tank, the same kind used for gas grills. It hides inside the base behind a door, held in place by a securing ring.
How long does a tank last?
Up to about 10 hours per 20 lb tank, longer on a lower flame.
How do I light it?
Open the tank, push and turn the control knob, and hold the ignition button until it lights. Then dial the flame from low to high.
What safety features does it have?
Flame-out protection automatically shuts off the gas if the flame goes out. It’s CSA certified, and the flame burns inside tempered glass panels.
Where can I use it?
It’s built for open-air outdoor spaces: patios, pool decks, gardens and restaurant terraces. Set it on stone, concrete or pavers with plenty of open space above it.
