The 18 in has an 18 × 17 in front panel and a 19 × 17.5 in body. The 23 in has a 23 × 17 in front panel and a 25 × 17 in body. Both are 5 in deep. Measure your opening before you order.

Does it have a thermostat?
Yes. Set it from 62°F to 82°F and it holds the room there. The LED display shows the temperature.
